We are the responsible unit for Cyber and Information Security activities across Julius Baer. As critical business enabler, we support our stakeholders from the different departments in regard to our security requirements and controls. This goal is achieved by actively providing advice from the very beginning of an activity and supports the projects with a “security by design” approach.

Do you want to contribute directly to our business success by making sure, that our initiatives (CtB as well as RtB) are well advised and supported and the implementation of meaningful security measures are covered? This is what your role as an Information Security Officer with a strong focus on application security will be centred on.

IHRE AUFGABEN

• Work closely with our stakeholders across numerous lines of business to effectively guide them through information security requirements

• Assist in ensuring application compliance with Julius Baer’s and regulatory standards

• Review appropriate artifacts and evidence that demonstrates compliance with information security requirements and ensures control satisfaction.

• Evaluate requirements against the applicable security control requirements and identify gaps and remediation options.

• Develop metrics to measure progress and effectiveness across the security control landscape.

• Accompany RFI/RFPs for new services or solutions to ensure, that the security by design principle is fulfilled and further act as an SME to support our stakeholders

• Plan assessments and check whether documentation and reality matches - this creates transparency and is improving Julius Baer’s security posture

• Design and review of the respective Requirements, Policies, Standards and Guidelines

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in preferably Information Technology or Information Security (Bachelor / MAS) and further certifications (e.g. CISM, CISSP)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security / security architecture experience required

• Good understanding of banking business or the flexibility to familiarize yourself with new topics

• Experience in coordinating and collaborating with different teams and stakeholders and further to explain and discuss but as well to enforce security measures

• Analytical mind-set and passion to approach problems unconventionally and deliver pragmatic results

• Proven written and verbal communication skills in English and German
